About Us

New Life Studio was founded by three freelance artists and designers. Our aim at New Life Studio is to create a competitive fashion brand while being environmentally friendly.

Accordingly, our collections are entirely made from second-hand materials. We repurpose clothing bought from thrift stores to craft new products, resulting in a unique aesthetic characterized by diverse materials and textures, including patchwork items.

Our creative process is driven by the inspiration we gain from intriguing materials, guiding us from the outset. Unlike conventional design, where the idea precedes the material, each of our products is unique, allowing customers to order similar items in the same style if desired.

We employ various handmade printing techniques and artistic textile treatments, giving a new lease of life to many household textiles, such as bed linens and curtains, transformed into clothing items.

All our products are sewn at our studio by our designers & in Estonia.

Our designersHello! My name is Eva Tarn! I am a designer at New Life Studios. I have a degree in Accessory Design from the Estonian Academy of Arts. While my main focus is designing and sewing bags, lately I've also been inspired by the world of clothing. My style is versatile, stemming from my internal conflicting influences. I create bold and darker-toned pieces, but on the other hand, I've begun to explore the softness within me, which manifests in my love for cute, shiny, colorful, and sparkling details. The two extremes in my creations result in surprising outcomes. I don't pursue perfection but embrace the quirks of the found material. For example, if I find the perfect material but it has a hole, I prefer to highlight that hole, allowing it to influence and transform whatever item I'm creating around it.
Hello! My name is Tuuliki! I am a designer at New Life Studio and a fan of upcycling. I have been working as a freelance artist for more than 20 years. I design and sew all my products myself. I have created numerous stage costumes for various groups, participated in international art projects, and worked in television and theater. For the past two years, I have dedicated all my energy to building up New Life Studio. We have also established a Creative Sewing group, where we guide young people and adults, teaching them various upcycling tips and techniques.

Promoting reuse

We conduct various upcycling, fashion design, and sewing workshops at our studio, guided by our designers. To facilitate this, we have created a Creative Sewing page on Facebook.
